As soon as I finished my last grad school class, I was excited to reach for my camera.  I wanted to get back in the creative mode and saw an opportunity for a styled collaborative shoot in the desert.  This was my first time participating in a styled shoot and was nervous about how it would be.  I didn’t know the organizer and was still new to the local photographer’s community.  Julia Stockton of Julia Stockton Photography was the coordinator and such a sweet person.  It was a small group, which made me feel very comfortable.  I also saw a familiar face from the local Tuesday Together meetups.  The other photographers at the shoot were all very kind and friendly.  I had a great time!  I really enjoyed the experience and look forward to doing more, maybe even coordinating one myself!

The shoot was a bohemian bridal themed shoot.  It was located at the Desert National Wildlife Refuge in Las Vegas, Nevada.  It was so beautiful.  The weather, the light, the desert, I was in love!  Our host, Julia coordinated the models, florals, and style accessories with local vendors (listed below).  They did such an amazing job.
